Burnt Orange & Blue High-Rise Wedding | Skylark NYC
Some weddings are unforgettable because of where they happen. In May, we designed flowers for a beautiful high-rise wedding at The Skylark for Cecilia & Teddy. The venue has amazing views of the Manhattan skyline. It also has a rooftop bar where guests could enjoy cocktails while watching the sunset. The whole night felt stylish and special.
Burnt Orange & Blue: A Bold and Modern Palette
Cecilia & Teddy wanted colors that were bright and modern. We used burnt orange and deep blue flowers. The colors were strong but still looked elegant. For the ceremony, we made two big round flower stands in clear vases. They were the main focus of the room and looked amazing against the skyline. The couple was very happy with the design. It was exactly how they wanted it.
This color scheme also works well for fall weddings. The burnt orange brings warmth, and the deep blue adds depth. It is a bold and timeless choice for any season.
Reception Design
For the reception, we used flowers on all the tables. We moved ground flowers from the ceremony to the sweetheart table. This made the couple’s table feel full and special. Each table had long candles and flower arrangements. The candlelight made the room warm and cozy.
Guest Experience
Guests really liked the flowers. They also loved the rooftop bar during cocktail hour. The ceremony and reception looked connected. Every detail, from the big flower stands to the table flowers, made the night feel beautiful.
